Degree Requirements

 Bachelor Degree
Graduation Threshold: at least 140 credits
(1) General requirements: 28 credits
(2) Professional requirements: 70 credits
(3) Electives: 42 credits

 
 M.S. Degree
Graduation Threshold: at least 30 credits
(1) Thesis requirements: 6 credits
(2) Seminar: 3 credits
(3) Electives: 21 credits

 
 Ph.D. Degree
Graduation Threshold: at least 30 credits
(1) Thesis requirements: 12 credits
(2) Seminar: 4 credits
(3) Electives: 14 credits

 
 Five-year bachelor/master's dual-degree program
Undergraduate students with distinguished academic performances each semester can apply to the department after an announcement is made. Students in this program can obtain both bachelor and master degrees at year 5 after completing undergraduate and graduate coursework and passing both the master degree examination and oral defense. The number of students admitted will be determined and announced each year, and it should not exceed the quota given each year to the direct entry channel.
 
 NOTE
International Students need to take enough Chinese credits before graduate.
Chinese credits can NOT be used to meet the graduation requirements.
